Area information

The Garda Lake, with a surface of 370 km², is the vastest in Italy. It is surrounded by a spectacular natural scenery made of a series of mountains and hills. Thanks to its geographical position, south of the pre-alps lakes, its shores enjoy an exceptionally mild climate that favours the growth of typical Mediterranean vegetation.
Malcesine, the pearl of the lake, with its historical centre filled with quaint corners and medieval characteristics, still preserves traces of the Della Scala domain with the Scaligero Castle from the 13th century.
