The Alpe di Siusi ski trails are just a 10-minute walk from the Icaro. The Seiser Alm Ski Resort is made up of over 23 ski lifts, and 60 km of both ski slopes and cross-country trails.

The hotel is located in the Schlern wildlife park. According to Italian law the use of cars in the wildlife park is regulated as follows:
Arrival and departure: no restrictions.
During your stay at Hotel Icaro: before 10:00 and after 17:00 it is forbidden to drive around (you will be subject to a fine of EUR 105.00)

Parking is allowed only in the hotel parking area or on car park number 2 at Compatsch (at an additional cost).
